Prefixed mode (default): Each QR encodes ~1|id|seq/total|crc|payload. The id is a CRC32 of the whole text (groups one transfer); the crc is a CRC32 of that chunk (catches a mangled read). The receiver reads the total from any chunk and tracks which are missing.
